Creating a Query

Adding a Class to the Query

When starting a new Query, you will need to decide what is the main class that you want to retrieve.
You can either drag the class onto the center Query Tree, double-click on the class, or upload a saved Query from your local computer.

Top-Level Class

A class must be the top-level concept in any Query.

Adding Data Properties to the Query

You can drag data property from the Ontology Tree over its parent class in the Query, double-click on the data to add it to the Query, or use the class pop-up menu to Add all data to the query.

See: Pop-up Menu

Using the Add all pop-up menu, all data properties of the s_subject class are included in the Query.

Running the Query

Once you've added at least one data property to the Query, you can click the Run button to execute the query and review the results.

Limit=1

If you're exploring the data, you might want to set the Limit setting to a small number to improve query performance.

See: Query Settings

Results tabs are added at the bottom of the screen for each run query. Results are paginated, and provide the option to Download the results as CSV.

Saved Queries, Download as Excel

If you run a saved Query, you will be given the option to Download as Excel. This will add additional information about the data properties, Mediator, Query, and User to the file.

This option is not available for unsaved queries.
